As a form of recollection, the International Youth Day celebration was initiated in year 2000 to celebrate the impact, resilience and drive of the teeming youths, worldwide.
The theme of this year's edition (2020) is tagged: "Youth Engagement for Global Action". Such a wonderful topic at a very topical time.
Various programmes, initiatives and Innovation challenges were held to commemorate the Day, of which EXCEL MINDS participated. EXCEL MINDS also participated in an initiative that saw some young leaders being celebrated and nominated to become the face of the organization.
The Founder of the Group, Oladimeji Shotunde, charged all Stakeholders and Members to be driven and resilient, towards creating a better future for the youths. The EXCEL MINDS Academic Group is very much committed to the ideals of the youths, and as such, is putting in measures to ensure that all members are braced for Global Action through our 'Service to Humanity' drive.
The potentials of the youths are yet to be fully tapped, this we admit. I that regard, EXCEL MINDS Academic Group is charging the government, Institutions and bodies to support the youths in their initiatives towards birthing meaningful change.
