EXCEL MINDS PARTNERS LASUSU TO HOST MAIDEN EDITION OF "GLOBAL CHALLENGE 1.0" COMPETITION, AS COORDINATOR SERVES AS CHAIRMAN

The EXCEL MINDS Academic Group, in propagation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (4), served as a partner at the maiden edition of the Lagos State University Students' Union Global Challenge Competition. The event was held on Thursday, October 24th, 2019 at the Okunuga Moot Court of the Lagos State University. 

The initiative was conceived to expose all participants and attendees to Global Issues, with special mention of which are Climate Change, World Economy, Unemployment, Education, Sports, Politics, Science, amongst others. The event had a record 400 attendees with 20 participants, representing different faculties and schools, jostling for the ultimate price.  

The Founder of the EXCEL MINDS Academic Group, Oladimeji Shotunde, served as Chairman for the organizing team, and also served as a moderator at the event. Two (2) EXCEL MINDS Executives, Kolawole Tolani David and Oladele Ayobamikale Isaac also served as participants.  

The event was an initiative of the LASUSU Academic Committee, led by the Vice President of the Union, Onochie Princess Nkem.

Cash prices, ranging from #70,000 to #50,000 and #30,000 were given to the winners of the novel competition. 

The EXCEL MINDS Academic Group is proud to associate with and support such initiative, as it is one that would give exposure, as well as broaden the knowledge horizon of all participants.
