The EXCEL MINDS Academic Group successfully held the maiden edition of her Dinner & Awards Event, on Friday, February 28, 2020 - at Keviz Hotels Banquet Hall, Obadore, Lagos, Nigeria.
The event, which recorded about 400 specially invited guests, had very distinguished personalities, staff of the Lagos State University, Student Leaders, Intellectuals and Members of the group in attendance. Awards were presented to deserving members and other dignitaries present.
The Award and Dinner event was an initiative to reward excellence in quality service delivery. It was an avenue for Tutors and Publicists of the Group, who have been discharging their duties without getting any pay and in the spirit of Service to Humanity to get compensated for all their efforts. About 70 awards were given to various persons at different segments of the group, ranging from Executives, Stakeholders, Publicists, Staff Advisers, down to even those who have been making Change in their community.
It's projected that this Dinner & Awards segment would be held every two (2) years, to further recognise and appreciate excellence in quality service delivery and service to humanity.
The event started at about 5pm (West African Time) and ended around 9:40pm. The event was devoid of any unusual occurrence, as everything went fine and the atmosphere especially, was very peaceful and fun filled. It was a time for everyone to unwind from the stress encountered in discharging the functions of the EXCEL MINDS Academic Group.
