The EXCEL MINDS Academic Group, on Monday, January 27th, 2020 celebrated 3 years of excellence in the social impact space, coming in the form of TRIENNIAL ANNIVERSARY. This was done virtually via WhatsApp platforms and the Facebook Handle of the Group.
It would be recalled that the group began her selfless activities and Social Impact drive as far back as January 2017, with just 3 members, after which it grew to accommodate over 5000 members, as at the time of writing this report. Beyond her exponential membership, the group has an impressive number of over 120 Executives and Publicists, that help in stirring the activities of the Group.
The Group has gone ahead to organize series of academic sessions, trainings, seminar, mock examinations, personal development events, as well as facilitate opportunities and exposure for members. The achievements of the group are quite unprecedented, as members of the group are documented to have secured Scholarships, Grants, Opportunities, etc., all of which have helped in further advancing the objectives of the Group. Beyond that, the Group also impacted on the academic lives of over 10,000 students, mainly in Tertiary Institutions, through her activities, compilations and resource persons.
On this occasion of her TRIENNIAL ANNIVERSARY, the Group is convinced that there are still greater things to achieve and accumulate for humanity, and as such, sees this as an avenue to consolidate on previous gains, while also making concerted efforts to ensure the sustainability of what has been initiated.
The Founder of the Group, Oladimeji Idris Shotunde, sent a short address to all Stakeholders, thanking them for their selfless services, commitments and efforts, which served as a leverage for the group to achieve her mission and look forward to her vision.
